APPLICATION OF THE DEEP LEARNING APPROACH TO TEACHING PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS AT THE UPPER SECONDARY LEVEL

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the theoretical and practical foundations of the deep learning approach. Building on this basis, a specialized pedagogical process for teaching Probability and Statistics at the upper secondary level is proposed, integrating deep learning methodologies. Results from direct pedagogical experiments indicate that this process is not only highly feasible but also enables students to transcend rote memorization, grasp core concepts, and apply their knowledge flexibly to real-life situations. The research provides a valuable practical reference framework for mathematics teachers within the context of current educational reforms.
