Currently, In the context of rapid urbanization in Hue City, managing and reducing carbon emissions has become an urgent requirement to move toward sustainable development and the establishment of a Net-Zero Carbon City (NZCC). Urban vegetation, with its diverse ecosystems, functions as a natural “carbon bank,” yet effective tools to assess and visualize its carbon storage capacity are still lacking. This study aims to develop an interactive digital map to visualize the carbon stock of vegetation in Hue. Based on a database compiled from biodiversity and soil indicators, this map will serve as a decision-support tool, enabling urban managers and planners to formulate effective strategies for protecting green spaces, enhancing carbon sequestration, and promoting sustainable city development.
