COMMON MISTAKES MADE BY CHINESE LANGUAGE STUDENTS AT QUANG BINH UNIVERSITY WHEN LEARNING TRANSLATION

Abstract

In the framework of the undergraduate training program of the Chinese Language major at Quang Binh University, the subject “Translation” is included in the first semester program of the third year of language major students. During the learning process, many students encounter difficulties and often make mistakes in the translation process, both in language knowledge and translation skills. Through the survey method of collecting data through students' translations and conducting qualitative analysis, the article will point out common mistakes of students majoring in Chinese Language, thereby giving some recommendations to overcome them to improve the quality of teaching and learning translation.
