Common Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Classroom Interaction in English Language Classes: Insights from EFL Students at Quang Binh University

Studying students’ attitude towards the impact of these factors on students’ performance in English language classes is of great significance in improving the students’ language proficiency and establishing a solid foundation for their academic and professional development. By employing both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods using questionnaires and semi-in-depth interviews as the main instruments, this study aims to investigate the perceptions of 80 English-majored students at Quang Binh University toward the factors affecting the effectiveness of classroom interaction in English language classes, identify the key factors that facilitate or hinder effective classroom interaction in EFL settings, and provide recommendations for improving classroom interaction and enhancing English language learning at Quang Binh University.
